It appears that Shaquille O’Neal is anything but a sore loser as the NBA legend made headlines recently as his gamble with fellow NBA legend Dwayne Wade did not pay off.

The former professional basketball player made a memorable appearance on Tuesday evening as he took his spot during TNT’s NBA coverage, and the 47-year-old stole the spotlight with his new haircut.

Even though the basketball legend has kept his head completely shaved for years, due to balding, it seems that this time he let his receding hair grow.

Apparently, O’Neal decided to acknowledge the elephant in the room and satisfy the curiosity of the viewers as he addressed his explanation to the whole country with “Let’s get it out of the way, America.”

O’Neal then continued by revealing that he lost a bet against Wade, regarding who would win in the recent game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat.

Since O’Neal’s prediction that Milwaukee would win by 20 failed, he reportedly asked Wade if he wanted payment for the bet.

However, Wade did not want any money from his friend, and as he replied with “Nah, you gotta let your hairline grow out, and we wanna see your hairline looking like Kenny Smith.”

He said: “Let’s just get it out the way, America. I bet against one of my good friends, D. Wade, in Milwaukee versus the Heat. I said Milwaukee was gon’ win by 20 and the Heat won. I said, ‘What do you want me to do? Pay you?’ He said, ‘Nah, you gotta let your hairline grow out. We wanna see your hairline looking like Kenny Smith.’ So, I just lined it up for y’all, so y’all can see where my hairline [is]. I look good, and I’m proud to do it, and I’m gonna keep it like this [always].”

When O’Neal told his story, the other hosts of the show, Candace Parker, Adam Lefkoe, and the bet-winner, Wade, started chuckling, and he concluded that he liked his new hairstyle so much that he might keep it for the time being.

One fan laughed and dragged LeBron James in this: “Its okay at least your hairline stays on when you dribble, unlike @kingjames 😂😂Hairline so far back its a backcourt violation 😂.”

Another commenter stated: “😂😂😂 🤔 hmmm, I can damn near see wat you are thinking 😂😂😂 it’s good head a&s.”

This person shared: “It ain’t worse than the Beijing i had back in the day big bro 🤣🤣🤣
